Lorebert “Maralita” Comision is a multimedia artist from Northern Samar. His works explore the social reality around him, as well as his persistence to create despite being bound in a place that can limit the creation of art for others.

Taking inspiration from the social realists, he presents his view of the world, especially the self-effacing figures of laborers, farmers, and locals–in particular, the systemic entrapment imposed on them by Philippine society.
