Rico Lascano graduated from the University of the Philippines with a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication. He is currently teaching at The University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts. Lascano has exhibited in several group and solo shows in New York, New Jersey and Singapore. He has also exhibited in galleries around Manila, the Cultural Centre of the Philippines and the Metropolitan Museum of Manila. Lascano’s paintings capture the stillness of natural elements, manifesting as tranquil, minimalist abstractions.
