If our lives were the summation of one moment to the next, are we lost in utter solitude, where our moments only tangentially coincide with the moments of our meaningful others, or is there a possibility of real communion? Deborah del Pan’s In Transit tell of transitory passages and invite us to see the depth of possibility that may lie within and beyond the moment when the narratives presented in her works could potentially be reflected and interact with our own.Deborah Del-Pan was born in Hawaii when the islands were known for agriculture rather than its touristy beaches and vacation condos. She has been a resident of the Philippines since she was sixteen years old, except for a few years when she taught in Singapore. Del-Pan is a member of the Makati Arts Guild. This is her second solo show.

In Transit opens on Thursday, December 6, 6pm and runs until December 21, 2012.
