Helen Mirasol’s photo-and-poetry meditation on the beauty of the fleeting moment are presented in her first solo exhibit Frozen in Time. By attempting to capture the ephemeral in film and written word, Mirasol mines the infinite richness of the moment and presents to viewers signs and pointers to grapple and grasp the enduring beauty in the transitory.
Helen Mirasol was born in New York and has lived in the Philippines since 1962. She delights in painting the hidden and the unexplainable, and considers oil to be her medium of choice. She has agreed to explore photography for this current exhibit. Mirasol is a member of the Makati Arts Guild.
Frozen in Time opens on Thursday, December 6, 6pm and runs until December 21, 2012.
