The Edge of the Sky is a multidisciplinary exhibition that reexamines the emotional power of the color blue. The show invites nine artists, Adela, Eri Abe, Chinnich Candao, Tammy de Roca, Danna Espinosa, Bayani Galera, Liz Lanuzo, Regina Reyes, and Jone Sibugan, to explore their own “blue moments”, from periods of grief to stillness and healing.

Drawing from the symbolic resonance of Picasso’s Blue Period, the exhibition invites each artist to explore the nuances of introspection and renewal. Their works span cyanotype, watercolor, sculpture, abstraction, and collage–mediums chosen not just for form, but for their ability to hold feeling in gesture and texture.

The artists span a wide range of practices and perspectives: from Adela’s introspective cyanotype meditations to Chinnich Candao’s fluid brushwork rooted in Maguindanaon heritage; from Tammy De Roca’s textured abstractions to Regina Reyes’s collaged reflections on memory and impermanence. Whether shaped by cultural history, inner landscapes, or spiritual inquiry, each work contributes to a shared visual horizon.

Together, these works speak softly but insistently. They offer not solutions, but presence, a stillness that holds complexity. The Edge of the Sky asks us to linger at the border between seen and felt, where blue becomes not just a color, but a space in which emotion can unfold, held gently and without rush.
