Inspired by Soetsu Yanagi’s timeless reflections, The Beauty of Everyday Things brings together artists who examine how meaning and memory reside in the ordinary. From well-worn chairs and kitchen utensils to cherished keepsakes and mundane routines, the exhibition asks: what do the objects of daily life tell us about care, use, and beauty?

Rather than focusing on extravagance or spectacle, these works turn our attention to the small, the quiet, and the familiar. The artists explore the aesthetics of function, wear, and presence, reimagining the overlooked as something tender, poetic, and worthy of contemplation.

Here, beauty is not something added on, but something that emerges from lived experience. Through painting, installation, and mixed media, the exhibition invites viewers to reconsider what art can be, and where it can be found: in the things that serve us, shape us, and stay with us long after their use.
